Fire Stopper

Overview:
Join our team as a Fire Stopper and become an integral part of a rapidly growing Fire & Safety company. As a Fire Stopper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the installation and maintenance of fire stopping systems to uphold safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Install fire stopping systems in accordance with industry standards and guidelines
- Conduct surveys, measurements, and inspections of fire stopping installations
- Maintain a safe working environment adhering to Health & Safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Handle manual tasks such as moving fire stopping materials safely
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage locations
- Assist in the application of passive fire stopping techniques when required

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in fire stopping or related field
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to fire stopping installations

- NVQ level 2

- CSCS card
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, welding, masonry, and electrical work is advantageous
- Ability to fabricate, paint, and work with various materials
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team or independently
- Flexibility to work on single or multiple site locations as needed
