Job Description

Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting for two experienced Fire Stoppers to join an ongoing project in Exeter

Key Responsibilities - Fire Stoppers (Bat and Mastic Work)



Install and maintain firestop systems using bat and mastic methods in line with relevant codes and standards. Inspect and assess existing firestop installations to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Work closely with construction teams, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, to incorporate firestop solutions into building projects. Prepare and apply materials for firestopping applications as required. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently during installations. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain adherence to safety protocols. Document installation procedures and maintain accurate records of materials used.

Requirements:



Blue CSCS Card (Mandatory) NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection Proven experience in fire stopping, including batt & mastic, fire doors, penetration sealing, and related tasks Own tools and PPE Ideally to have DBS
