The role
Fire Stopper will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of firestop systems in various construction projects to ensure the safety of building occupants and compliance with fire protection codes. This role requires knowledge of fire-resistant materials, and safety standards. Working closely with other construction team members, inspectors, and safety personnel to complete projects on time

Key Responsibilities
:
Install and seal firestop systems, including fire-resistant sealants, batt & mastic fire caulking, intumescent wraps, and firestop blocks, around penetrations in walls, floors, and ceilings.
Ensure that all firestop systems are installed in compliance with safety regulations, and fire prevention standards.
Inspect and assess the firestop installations to ensure proper functionality and effectiveness in preventing the spread of fire.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on installed firestop systems.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies while performing duties.
Maintain accurate records of materials used, installation procedures, and any necessary follow-up inspections.
Keep up to date with the latest firestop technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
:
Valid C,S,C,S card is essential.
N,V,Q Level 2 in passive fire protection is essential.
Full UK driving licence is essential, you must be 26 years old and held your licence for a minimum or one year. (for insurance purposes)
You must have familiarity with firestopping materials and systems, including sealants, caulking and wraps.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to read technical diagrams.
You must be in a good physical condition and have the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.
