two experienced Fire Stoppers with driving capability
to join a key project in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
Install fire stopping systems, including fire-resistant seals, boards, batt/mastic products, and compounds, with emphasis on vertical cavity barrier applications.
Carry out general fire batt and mastic works in accordance with project specifications.
Conduct fire stopping inspections and implement any required remedial actions.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately to ensure correct installation.
Maintain strict compliance with fire safety protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Operate company vehicles as required; must hold a valid driving license.
Assist with general site duties, including material handling, equipment maintenance, and keeping the work area safe and organized.
Collaborate effectively with site teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely project delivery.
Participate in on-site training and development to stay current with fire safety standards and best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in fire stopping or passive fire protection.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Passive Fire Protection.
Valid CSCS card (mandatory).
FIRAS accreditation or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Own tools and transport.
Must hold a valid driving licence and be able to drive to site locations.
Must be available to work as a 2-man team.
