We are looking for skilled Fire Stoppers for an office fit out project in Liverpool. Four weeks work. Must have a CSCS Blue Skill card. An IPAF and Pasma would be an advantage too.
We are seeking a skilled Fire Stopper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring fire safety through the installation and maintenance of fire stopping systems. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. The Fire Stopper will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with safety regulations and ensuring the integrity of fire barriers.
Duties
Install fire stopping systems in accordance with building codes and safety regulations.
Fabricate components as needed for effective fire stopping solutions.
Utilise power tools and hand tools to perform installations and repairs.
Conduct inspections to ensure proper installation and maintenance of fire stopping systems.
Collaborate with other trades, including electricians, carpenters, and masons, to ensure seamless integration of fire stopping measures.
Perform painting tasks related to finishing installations.
Assist in roofing projects where fire stopping measures are required.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Experience
Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous.
Experience working with electrical systems is beneficial.
A background in masonry or carpentry will be considered an asset.
Ability to plumb effectively as part of installation processes is desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
