Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting x2 Fire Stoppers to join an ongoing project in Southampton.

We are specifically seeking two operatives who already work together as a team.

Install and service firestopping systems using products such as intumescent sealants, fire-rated panels, protective coatings, and fire curtains, ensuring all work meets applicable codes and industry standards. Evaluate existing firestop assemblies to verify compliance, structural soundness, and their ability to restrict the movement of smoke and flame. Prepare, form, and apply firestop materials for a variety of building and construction needs. Operate hand, power, and cutting tools safely and effectively throughout all installation and fabrication tasks. Perform routine checks of work areas and completed firestop applications to confirm alignment with safety guidelines and fire protection requirements. Keep detailed documentation of installation steps, material usage, and completed tasks for reporting and record-keeping purposes.

Requirements:

Blue CSCS Card (

Mandatory

) NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection Proven experience in fire stopping, including batt & mastics, penetration sealing, and related tasks Must work in pairs (no single operatives) Own tools and PPE
