Job Description
Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting multiple Fire Stoppers to join an ongoing project in
Telford
Install and maintain firestop systems using materials such as intumescent mastics, fire-rated boards, sealants, and fire curtains in compliance with relevant codes and standards. Inspect and assess existing firestop installations for compliance, integrity, and effectiveness in preventing fire and smoke spread. Fabricate, prepare, and apply firestopping materials as required for various construction applications. Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and cutting tools during installation and fabrication. Conduct regular inspections of work areas and completed installations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and fire safety standards. Document installation procedures, maintain accurate records of materials used, and report on work completed.
Requirements:
Blue CSCS Card (Mandatory) NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection Proven experience in fire stopping, including batt & mastics, penetration sealing, and related tasks Own tools and PPE
