At Stream Marine Training (SMT), we deliver world?class emergency response and safety training to the maritime, offshore and renewable energy industries. Our Fire Team plays a crucial role in helping delegates build the skills and confidence needed to handle real?world emergencies -- and now we're looking for a reliable, hands?on Fire Ground Support team member to help keep our training environments safe, professional, and ready for action.

Fire Ground Support

, you'll be at the heart of our fire training operations. This is an active, varied role where no two days look the same. You'll support our Fire Fighting Instructors, maintain fire ground equipment, and help ensure the site runs smoothly for delegates attending our courses.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

Opening and closing the Fire Ground each day Preparing training scenarios and course setups as requested by instructors Filling SCBA cylinders Organising, cleaning, and issuing PPE and fire kit Providing safety support during live fire exercises Transporting delegates between sites Conducting general maintenance and groundworks on the Fire Ground Cleaning and maintaining delegate areas Ensuring consumables are stocked and ordered Carrying out daily, weekly and monthly equipment checks and completing associated paperwork Assisting with GWO Fire courses at Stream House Maintaining the fire area at Stream House Supporting additional duties such as Davit operations and helping maintain OPITO & GWO lifejackets And any other tasks required to support safe, high?quality training delivery

Pay: 26,000.00 per year
