Job Description

Brightwork are pleased to be recruiting for Fire Wardens on behalf of our Drinks clients based in Blair Atholl on an ongoing, temporary basis.

Your Time at Work
Working with this client, duties will include but are not limited to:
- To fully understand and interpret the site(s) fire panel and take necessary action where required.
- Carry out assessment of signs of fire from a safe distance (i.e. in event of activation of single smoke alarm only).
- Ensure all personnel on site are accounted for during a site activation, directing them to the designated muster / assembly point.
- Liaise with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service / Emergency Services on arrival at the premises informing them of any relevant details relating to the fire incident and follow any instruction provided.
- Assist the Senior Site Manager(s) in implementing and improving effective emergency arrangements within the workplace.
- General housekeeping checks to help prevent fire and ensure there is no build-up of combustible materials.
- Raise awareness with other staff about the fire hazards that exist within the workplace.
- Complete all necessary documentation/records of any fire alarm activation including recording actions taken.
- Report faults and unsafe conditions.
- Comply with general health and safety for your site.

Our Perfect Worker
Successful candidates will have good numeracy and literacy skills and will be able to work independently and off their own initiative. Candidates must also be computer literate including Microsoft Office Programmes and will be good communicators. No previous experience in a similar role is required as full training will be provided.

Key Information and Benefits
Flexibility regarding shifts is required to ensure the needs of the site are met. Pay for this role starts at \xc2\xa314.28 per hour plus shift allowance.
