, home to a beautiful 18-hole course with a rich blend of parkland and heathland heritage. We are currently undertaking a woodland management plan to restore more of the course's heathland character, alongside recent investments in a full electrical Rainbird irrigation system and modern machinery.
We are now seeking an experienced Greenkeeper to join us as First Assistant Greenkeeper, working closely with the Course Manager and helping to drive ongoing improvements within our team. While formal qualifications are not essential, proven greenkeeping experience is highly valued, and a passion for developing your skills and contributing to the team's success is key.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver a consistently high standard of greenkeeping skills.
Apply extensive knowledge across all aspects of course maintenance.
Lead small teams on specific tasks and projects, guiding colleagues effectively and ensuring work is completed to a high standard without direct supervision.
Demonstrate self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, members, guests, and visitors.
Maintain punctuality and flexibility, including weekend and bank holiday work on a rota basis.
Skills & Experience
Greenkeeping experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
Driving licence (preferred).
Proven ability to supervise and mentor colleagues.
Strong teamwork and leadership qualities.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificates are desirable but not required.
Chainsaw certificates are desirable but not required.
