Assistant Greenkeeper

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our team. This position is well-suited to a young enthusiastic person who is looking to further their career.

The Assistant Greenkeeper will report to the course manager to ensure that the golf course is maintained and presented to the highest standards.

The Role:

Work alongside the course manager in preparation, maintenance of the golf course.

Be entrusted with the daily maintenance operations of the golf course and greenkeeping team in the absence of the course manager.

Undertake general mowing and course practices.

Working hours:

40 hours per week/ weekend work done on a Rota basis

Skills and Experience:

NVQ level 2 or equivalent in sports turf maintenance.

PA1,PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates

CS30 Chainsaw Licence. (desirable but not essential.)

Practical experience and skills in machinery maintenance and setup

Ability to complete tasks to a high standard.

Competent in mowing techniques

3 years minimum experience in greenkeeping

Have a positive, can do attitude and work well within a team.

Salary negotiable depending on Experience and qualifications.
