We are seeking a motivated and reliable Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will serve customers and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop. Your primary responsibilities will include serving customers, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall functioning of the shop.

Duties:
-Provide excellent customer service by greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.

-Must be a confident individual and be able to talk to customers and liase with other members of the team.

- Must be able to multitask and remember multiple orders

- Be able to cook food as shown by the owner and other members of the team.

- Be able to follow instructions, be a quick learner and work at a fast pace.

- Candidate must be able to handle food and wrap products quickly

-Previous experience would be preferred but training will be given

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including shelves, displays, and storage areas, Kitchen and prep area.
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of products
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and help out in various areas of the shop as needed

the hours are 4pm til 8-30 pm this may change depending on the business needs, this will be throughout the weekdays and Saturday , depending on the needs of the business and the candidate there may be a need to work extra hours.

rate of pay would start 12.50 an hour depending on experience.
