Responsibilities
Prepare and cook fish and chips according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders accurately.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Handle cash transactions efficiently while demonstrating basic math skills for accurate change.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting shortages as necessary.
Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Experience
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
