We are looking for a friendly and reliable Fast Food Crew Member., to join our busy Fish and Chip Shop. Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings only.
Village location, the successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, preparing food, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality standards
Serve customers efficiently and courteously with a smile
Uphold food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
Manage multiple tasks effectively, including order processing and cleaning duties
Support the team during busy periods by upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and assist with basic maths calculations as needed
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth welcoming atmosphere for guests
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment required, fish and chip shop advantageous
Knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards is desirable
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations
Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen work is beneficial
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
A positive attitude with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
