Fish Fryer (part Time)
Job Description
We are currently looking for a trainee fish fryer to come and learn the blue lagoon way, and to have a long lasting career with us, because of this no prior experience is required. You will start to learn from day one:
- How we prepare and fry our potatoes
- How we prepare our fish for frying
- How we prepare batters
- How we prepare breaded fish
- And of course learning how to fry up our famous fish and chips for our customers
You will also learn how to plate up and run the pass during a busy service, learning the takeaway and all aspects of what it takes to get great food out to our customers! With our shop being right on the corner of Perth's high street, it can get very busy and require a high level of multitasking, so candidates must be able to cope with a high pressure environment whilst listening to management and team mates on shift, as communication is paramount to a successful service.
