We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our team in a fast-paced food environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook various food items using frying techniques while adhering to established recipes and portion sizes.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the frying station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
Assist with meal preparation.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper frying techniques and kitchen protocols as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen role is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and equipment, particularly frying apparatus.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations .
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
