Fitness Trainer - Men's Health & Lifestyle Programme (Brotherhood)

Near Bradford City Football Club, Bradford and other potential locations

Zero-hours contract (weekly session, every Wednesday evening)
Hours:
1 - 1.5 hours per week (Wednesdays, 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM) with possibility to do more hours
Rate:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Summary
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Fitness Trainer to join our men's health initiative - Brotherhood - in Bradford. The programme supports men to improve their fitness, health, and wellbeing through accessible, community-based sessions.
You will lead a weekly group fitness session that caters to men of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels, creating a supportive, welcoming, and motivational environment. You'll also be working alongside a team that includes dietitians and health professionals, so an interest in healthy eating and behaviour change is a big plus.
Responsibilities
Facilitate educational sessions for patients on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
Collaborate with dietitians to develop tailored dietary plans for individuals.
Provide support and guidance to patients in implementing dietary changes.
Monitor patient progress and adjust educational strategies accordingly.
Lead a weekly group fitness session for men attending the Brotherhood programme
Create inclusive, engaging, and adaptable sessions that build confidence and improve health outcomes
Motivate and support participants to be active regardless of their starting point or fitness level
Work closely with the wider team
Keep basic attendance records and provide brief feedback if required
Requirements
Recognised fitness qualification (e.g. Level 2 Gym Instructor or Level 2/3 Group Exercise Instructor)
Experience running group exercise classes
Confident working with adults with a range of fitness needs
Friendly, approachable, and inclusive teaching style
Reliable and punctual
Desirable:
Interest or knowledge in nutrition, healthy eating, or lifestyle change
Experience working with men's health groups or underrepresented communities
First Aid certification
