Granite Marvel is a small family-run business dedicated to providing high-quality templating and installation of granite, marble, and quartz worktops. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and attention to detail, serving a diverse range of projects from kitchens and bars to counter tops across the country.
We are looking for someone to come on board and help as a Fitters Mate as and when needed on our busy days. We can give advance notice of the days you will be needed each week. Days and hours will vary.
You will support skilled fitters on various installation and maintenance tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Experience in the trade is not essential as you will be trained on the job to achieve our standards. Duties include lifting and installing the materials, and using a polisher, grinder, and general hand held tools. The fitting side of the job can be learned as we go. The right person has to be flexible with hours as there are early starts involved. You have to be strong to lift the materials and MUST have a full UK driving license to share the driving. Having a CSCS card would be an advantage but is not essential. You will be dealing with customers face to face so you must be punctual and able to present yourself well. The job involves team work and communication, but most importantly you have to be RELIABLE! If early starts and driving is going to be an issue, then please don't apply! This role would best suit someone who is not looking for full time employment, and is flexible with what days they can work. The option of joining our pension scheme is also on offer.
