About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Fleet Assistant / Administrator
to join our team in Northallerton. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the operational efficiency of our fleet services, which include over 240 vehicles and equipment, as well as 96 North Yorkshire Council IPT buses and community minibuses.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including:
Managing bookings and service schedules
Raising invoices and processing documentation
Recording and analysing operational data (e.g., fuel usage)
Supporting compliance with DVSA transport regulations and MOT centre administration
Assisting with driver hours legislation and fleet record-keeping

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience in fleet administration, motor trade, or a similar environment
Strong organisational and communication skills
Good literacy and numeracy abilities
A customer-focused approach and ability to work collaboratively
Flexibility to travel to other depots across North Yorkshire when required
Knowledge of transport compliance and DVSA regulations is highly desirable.
