We are seeking a proactive, customer focussed, organised, and experienced Fleet Supervisor to join our team managing a large, complex fleet of HGVs and trailers. This office-based position is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong knowledge of commercial vehicles, excellent coordination skills, and a background in fleet compliance and operations.




You'll play a central role in keeping the fleet moving -- liaising with workshops, and suppliers, and ensuring that all compliance, servicing, and breakdown activities are efficiently managed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of a large fleet of HGVs and trailers Schedule and coordinate servicing, MOTs, inspections, and defect repairs Manage and monitor compliance records (e.g., LOLER, tacho, PMI schedules) Liaise with suppliers, and repair agents to minimise downtime Maintain accurate fleet databases and ensure legal and policy compliance Report on fleet status, performance, and issues to senior management Support accident management and vehicle off-road (VOR) tracking

Skills and Experience:

Proven background in fleet management or HGV operations Strong understanding of commercial vehicles, DVSA standards, and maintenance scheduling Experience dealing with third-party workshops and parts suppliers Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Confident with Microsoft Excel and fleet/maintenance software

Desirable:

Technical background in fleet maintenance Experience in a supervisory or senior coordination role
