Fleet/driver Compliance Administrator

Job Description

A new vacancy has opened for a Fleet/Driver Compliance Administrator within the Fleet Department. This is a fantastic chance to step into an important role at Bacton Logistics and support a key part of our operation.

To provide support to our fleet operations and driver trainer on all related admin tasks, ensuring we maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance standards.

Location: Lawn Farm, Woolpit.

Objectives



Ensure 100% accuracy of fleet and driver compliance records, including inductions, licences, training, and FORS documentation. Achieve zero missing mandatory vehicle inspections by ensuring we have proactive follow up procedures in place. Manage FleetCheck to ensure all vehicles and driver details are correctly maintained Produce monthly fleet compliance and spend reports.

Responsibilities



Manage FleetCheck updates, invoice filing, and spend tracking on damage/repairs. Oversee defect reporting, issuing order numbers and chasing missed inspections. Monitor and reconcile fuel and AdBlue usage, manager vehicle tags and driver PINs. Maintain fuel stock level onsite, sourcing best-price suppliers. Manage vehicle tax (RFL) renewals. Administer PCN process including challenges and cost recovery reporting. Support tachograph compliance (missing miles/days, agency drivers, vehicle downloads). Track working time compliance. Oversee FORS documentation, fuel efficiency reports, driver training and PDP files. Manage driver eye test register and company uniform orders. Safety, health and compliance (Drivers Hours, WTD).

Experience and Qualifications



Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications), including English and Maths at grade A-C/ 9-4. Experience in fleet or transport administration - desirable. Good understanding of compliance processes such as FORS, tachograph, RFL - desirable. Excellent communication skills written and verbally - essential. Proactive approach to problem solving - essential. Strong IT and data base skills - essential.

Skills and Attributes



Solid team player with great inter-personnel skills. IT literate (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word).

Monday - Friday - 45 hours including unpaid lunchbreak.
