Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable

Flexible Production Operative

to support various areas of our silicone and gasket manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will work across multiple functions, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting the team during peak periods or staff absences.

Key Responsibilities

Gasket Manufacturing:

Assist in the production of gaskets using appropriate tools and processes.

Silicone Work:

Perform tasks such as milling silicone material, joining silicone sections, and handling silicone components with care and precision.

Gasket Pipping:

Execute gasket pipping operations according to production specifications.

Warehouse Duties:

Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse and production areas.

Stock Management:

Support inventory control through stock checking, labelling, and basic inventory movements.

Housekeeping:

Ensure work areas are tidy, safe, and compliant with health and safety guidelines.

Production Support:

Step in to assist other departments or cover roles during staff shortages or high-demand periods.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

Quality Control:

Follow standard operating procedures and quality assurance checks to maintain consistent output standards.
Requirements

Willingness to learn new tasks and operate across different production areas. Good attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Physically fit and capable of manual handling and standing for extended periods. Strong team player with a positive, proactive attitude. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and production priorities.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
