What skills and experience do you need?

As a Support worker you will:

  • Encourage and motivate clients to engage with their community and develop life and social skills
  • Provide housing-related support to help clients take on and maintain a tenancy to prevent homelessness
  • Offer advice, information and support to clients
  • Complete all necessary administrative tasks related to the job, including developing risk assessments, support plans and risk management plans
  • Manage a caseload of clients with varying needs and levels of support
  • Liaise and work closely with other agencies and professionals to meet clients\' needs
  • Assist clients with potential benefits and help them register with healthcare providers

What are the pay and benefits?
  • 18.5 hours | Permanent
  • Th exact salary for this role is \xc2\xa311,231.00 The full time equivalent is \xc2\xa322,462.00
  • It is essential for the successful candidate to have access to a car, have a full drivers licence, and be happy to transport customers in their car.
  • We have a flexible and agile approach to the way we work. Out in the local community or in peoples homes. Offering support via telephone and video call. All support is client led and needs basis.
  • The hours are predominately between Monday to Friday days, however full flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service.
  • 26 days pro rata holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays
  • The role requires an enhanced DBS which we pay for
