Burton Addiction and O'Connor Centres (BAC) is an award-winning organisation offering support to individuals with drug and alcohol problems in a range of settings including detoxification and residential rehabilitation, recovery housing, social enterprises and community based therapeutic services. We work in partnership with We Are With You, to form the Community Drug and Alcohol Service (CDAS). We are recruiting staff for our housing team working within our drug and alcohol service that will ensure our service users who have a number of housing needs, receive support to access and maintain suitable, stable accommodation whilst receiving high quality, recovery orientated and evidence based interventions to reduce harm and maximise opportunity for sustained health living

The successful candidate will have:

Housing knowledge and specialist knowledge around drug and alcohol issues providing support to people in their homes to improve their engagement in treatment services.

Case managements skills to provide coordination of interventions and activities to empower the recovery of individuals accessing services.

Experience of delivering activities and interventions, which may be alongside peers in line with personal budgets.

Ability to work collaboratively with external partner agencies to provide support to Service Users to meet their needs through all stages of their individual recovery journey.

This role is based in hostels through Stoke on Trent.

Fixed Term Contract until 31/3/2026
