Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Layer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
Duties
Measure and cut flooring materials to fit designated areas accurately. Install a variety of flooring types, including LVT/Antico. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying adhesives as necessary. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and painters, to ensure seamless project completion. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout the installation process.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Floor Layer or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to flooring installation. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Valid CSCS card and Right to Work in the UK.
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: 20.00-22.00 per hour
