Are you a time served floor layer? We are looking for floor layers to join our teams to carry out flooring repairs and maintenance work to a stock of social housing achieving high standards of customer care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
As a time-served floor layer we need people with the following skills and experience;
Install flooring efficiently and to a high standard.
Carry out site assessments to ensure proper preparation before installation Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling and smoothing surfaces ensuring proper adhesion of flooring materials.
Use various adhesives and grouts as needed to secure flooring products
Floor preparation includes screed and plywood etc
Accurately measure and cut flooring to fit specified areas
Able to confidently cap and cove to a high standard
Experience with measuring and fitting non-slip vinyl like Polyflor, Tarkett to a high standard
Able to repair and replaced damaged flooring sections leaving a seamless finish by matching existing materials and finishes
Work alone and under supervision, and confident in completing final inspection and sign-off to ensure the flooring is consistently high quality and meets client standards
Work across multiple social housing properties, ensuring timely completion of jobs.
Communicate effectively with tenants, always maintaining professionalism.
Adhere to all safety and compliance standards.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you should have:
Proven practical experience in carpet laying.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to travel between jobs in the local area.
A valid driver's licence.
A willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided by us).
