We are currently seeking an experienced

Floor Layer

to join our dedicated team in Dover. You'll play a vital role in supporting our long-term partnership with Dover Council, ensuring homes and facilities are finished to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Floor Layer, you'll carry out a wide range of flooring installation tasks, including:

Installing and renewing sheet vinyl flooring, ensuring smooth, bubble-free finishes and secure seams. Laying ceramic tiles with precise cutting, mortar application, and clean grouting. Fitting cap and cove wet room flooring, including accurate coving and sealing for watertight finishes. Preparing subfloors by cleaning, repairing, priming, and applying self-levelling compounds or screed to create smooth bases. Ensuring all work meets professional, long-lasting quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

A full UK driving licence (held for at least 3 months; max 9 points) Experience working as a professional floor layer, including cap and cove installations Own set of hand and power tools Eligibility to work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship) Willingness to undergo a DBS/security check prior to employment
