Sinclair Group are recruiting for an experienced Screeder for a start on Monday 12th May in Dundee.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Screeder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and applying screed to floors, ensuring a smooth and level surface for subsequent flooring installations. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, including the use of hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for screeding by cleaning, levelling, and priming as necessary. Mix and apply screed materials according to specifications and project requirements. Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, meeting both quality and safety regulations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed. Follow schematics to accurately measure and lay out screed areas. Adhere to health and safety standards on-site at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in floor screeding or a related field is essential. Experience in using hand tools and power tools effectively. Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings is advantageous. Experience in carpentry or painting can be beneficial but is not essential. A strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship is required.
