About the Role

The Avenue Cinema, a fully licensed luxury cinema experience in the heart of Belfast, is seeking Floor & Service Staff to join our front of house team. You will deliver first-class service while gaining experience across food, beverage, and cinema operations.

Floor staff play a key role in maintaining a professional, welcoming, and safe environment, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Support a variety of floor duties, including:

Drink running

- delivering beverages to customers efficiently and safely.

Food running

- serving food items promptly to the correct guest areas.

Screen cleaning

- maintaining cleanliness and presentation of all auditoriums between showings.

Screen servers & order takers

- taking guest orders and serving in-screen dining or concessions. Set up and close down lounge and screen areas daily, working collaboratively with the bar and front of house team. Maintain clean, well-presented customer areas at all times. Assist with the smooth running of day-to-day bar and floor operations. Handle customer enquiries or issues professionally, escalating to duty managers as needed. Adhere to uniform, grooming, hygiene, health, and safety standards. Comply with licensing laws and cinema operational procedures. Complete any other duties as directed by management.

Essential Criteria

Good knowledge of bar and restaurant service. Experience with front of house / POS systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Team-focused with a commitment to high service standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
