Floor Staff/server
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Floor Staff member to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the dining area, providing excellent customer service and support to both guests and colleagues.
Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area and service stations
- Engage with customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages promptly
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance customer experience
- Support kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
