Job Summary

The Floor Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, overseeing daily activities and maintaining high standards of service. This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage staff, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and enhance the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, demonstrating both leadership and a passion for food and drink.

Duties

Supervise daily operations within the restaurant or kitchen environment to ensure efficiency and quality service. Train and mentor team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food production. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery to customers. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as necessary to maintain operational flow. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership. Assist in the development of menus and special promotions to enhance customer engagement.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking. Excellent team management abilities, fostering collaboration among staff members. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous. Ability to lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and commitment to service excellence. Experience as a barista is a plus, showcasing versatility in service roles. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with both team members and guests.

Pay: 12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
