We're looking for a skilled

Floorer

with experience in fitting

screed/alttro floor/ laminate/ carpet.

for a variety of commercial and domestic projects.

Type of Work:

Carpet fitting, vinyl (sheet and tile) installation, and general flooring prep

Location:

Peterborough, 4 weeks temporary contract. Potential for contract to be extended but work following this will be on the road.

Working Days:

Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay:

17ph Day Rate, 20ph Night Rate
Must have a good work ethic, attention to detail, and be comfortable working as part of a team.

Duties

Interpret and work from schematics to accurately install flooring materials. Measure, cut, and shape flooring materials to fit specific areas. Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by cleaning, sanding, or applying adhesives as necessary. Install a variety of flooring types including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet. Repair existing flooring as needed, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Contract length: 4 weeks

Pay: 17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
