Job Summary

We are looking to recruit a flooring sales assistant to join our small, welcoming office. If selected, your role will require you to be a vital part of the team where you will deal with a dynamic range of responsibilities- from physical tasks, such as lifting and organising flooring deliveries, to cognitive tasks such as pricing and computer proficiency, as well as social duties, namely interacting face-to-face with customers or representatives.

We have been proudly delivering trusted service and flooring for over 25 years which has earnt us a reputation for care, quality and a core place in the local community- we're looking for a friendly, dedicated member to naturally integrate into this environment.

Key responsibilities

- Helping with the offloading of LVT, underlay and carpet deliveries

- Managing phone inquiries and subsequent customer support

- Recommending and guiding customers in choosing the most suitable flooring choice, reflecting the customers personal preferences as well as the individuality of the measured area

- Resolve customer concerns and feedback with efficiency and professionality

- Process payments of both deposits and final payments

- Help maintain visual aesthetics of the showroom and shop presentation

- Regularly update pricing upon notification of supplier increases/ decreases

Who we're looking for:

Someone with a warm and enthusiastic approach to customers and great communication skills

Sales experience and commercially aware

This position requires the applicant to be fit and able in order to meet the physical demands of the role

Strong communication and phone skills

A developed understanding of the industry is preferable

A full UK drivers' licence (preferred)

Schedule

- Day shift

- Monday- Saturday with a day off in the week to be discussed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
