We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of floral design, horticulture, and customer service. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, providing exceptional service to customers, and maintaining the overall appearance of the shop. You must have people skills and be confident dealing with difficult situations during busy times.
Duties
Design and create floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday occasions
Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs
Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality
Organise displays and merchandising to enhance the shop's aesthetic appeal
Provide care for plants and flowers, including watering, pruning, and repotting as necessary
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their orders and preferences

Barista Trained - being able to make hot and cold coffees
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 7.00-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
