We are seeking a talented and passionate Florist to join our team. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our shop. This role requires a keen eye for design, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs.
Duties
Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their preferences.
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring all displays are visually appealing.
Manage inventory by ordering flowers and supplies as needed.
Provide care for plants and flowers to ensure their longevity and quality.
Sell floral products while providing excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
Skills
Proficient in floral design with a strong understanding of colour theory and composition.
Strong organisational skills to manage inventory and maintain an orderly workspace.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and provide personalised service.
A passion for floristry and knowledge of various plant species is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Must have Level 2 or 3 in Floristry.
At least 2 Years experience
Able to work more hours peak times - Valentine's, Mother's Day and Christmas
10 hours a week minimum
