Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse by ensuring that all shipping and receiving tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading items to site safely

Case & Pallet Picking

Order Picking & Marshalling

Maintaining the yard & making sure products are stored properly

Quality checking products and reporting any issues

Operating Counterbalance Forklift on site

Working in a yard environment - outside most of the day

Loading/unloading trailers using counterbalance FLT

Using internal WMS system and hand scanners

Ensure all tasks are carried out to the highest of standards

Adhering to Warehouse/Plant H&S rules at all time

Operating a 'clean as you go' policy to ensure the warehouse is free of excess debris, pests etc.

Assisting on the loading bay

Adhering to Health and Safety rules at all times

Carrying out any other reasonable request made by Supervisor/Manager

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.

1+ year operating a counterbalance FLT / Reach

Previous warehouse experience (ideally within the food industry, but not essential)

Good eye for detail

Strong communication skills, be a team player

Be proactive, use initiative

Good organisational and time management skills

Work in a fast paced environment, combining all the aspects of warehousing; logistics and customer service.

Hours of work - 06:00 - 18:00

Hourly rate 12.60

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 60 per week
