Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival, creating a positive first impression Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries and resolving any issues promptly Assist with food safety procedures, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained at all times Support food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the service area Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Manage table settings, clean tables, and ensure the dining area remains organised and inviting Handle basic maths for billing purposes and processing payments accurately Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours Basic maths skills for handling transactions and bills accurately Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
