We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As part of our Front of House team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their dining experience is memorable.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards throughout service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed promptly during busy periods. Provide assistance to guests as needed, addressing any queries or concerns with professionalism.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and helping others is highly valued. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.66-12.97 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week
