Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Duties

Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable from arrival to departure Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently Provide excellent guest service by attending to customer needs promptly and courteously Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting the kitchen team when necessary Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and manage basic maths calculations during service Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Support with organising reservations and managing waiting lists as needed

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not mandatory; full training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation practices is advantageous Experience in serving or guest services will be beneficial in delivering a high standard of customer care Ability to demonstrate good time management skills, working efficiently under pressure during peak hours Familiarity with basic maths for handling transactions and upselling products effectively Kitchen or culinary experience can be an added benefit but is not essential
