Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, providing exceptional service, and supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Duties

Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow. Provide detailed information about menu items, including food preparation methods and ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and adherence to food safety standards. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy. Perform basic maths for billing purposes and cash handling accurately. Uphold high standards of hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn about food preparation techniques. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for patrons. Capability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
