Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Assist guests with menu selections, providing detailed information about food and beverages. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service. Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Handle basic maths for processing payments and managing transactions accurately. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience while maximising sales opportunities. Maintain a tidy and organised front of house area, ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing payments effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction. A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
