Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards and presentation guidelines. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed during busy service periods. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary requirements to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is an advantage, along with basic culinary skills. Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A passion for guest services, with the ability to create memorable experiences for patrons.
