Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and experienced FOH supervisors, for our exciting new opening in Tetbury, Charlie's Cafe and Wine bar! A vegetarian / vegan Cafe and Wine bar opening in February 2026. This position has the potential to develop in to a higher position if you're the right person. Brunch will be served in the day and small plates in the evening. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and a background in leading service, locking up, cashing up and other typical supervisor responsibilities. Service charge will be added to bills in the evening, and will be evenly divided between staff on top of pay

Duties

Supervise front-of-house staff, including waiters and baristas, ensuring smooth service delivery Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring adherence to quality standards and presentation Manage customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels Assist in training new team members on service protocols, food safety, and hospitality standards Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the dining area in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery Support the implementation of promotional events or special functions within the venue Maintain accurate records of staff schedules, attendance, and performance feedback

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a cafe, bar, restaurant or hospitality environment Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills Familiarity with serving procedures and hospitality best practices Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Knowledge of barista techniques or bar service experience is advantageous Demonstrated ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
