WR Hospitality Services is looking for a Front of House Team Memeber / Catering Assistant / Caterer / Ward Host to start in Blackburn.

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the smooth operation of the establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and manage their seating arrangements Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen team Serve food and beverages with professionalism and courtesy Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety standards Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area Process payments accurately using the POS system Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, including proper food handling procedures Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery

Skills

Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transactions Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, but not essential Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue Organised with attention to detail in all aspects of service and cleanliness
