Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. You will be responsible for various tasks, including taking orders, assisting with food preparation, and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted. Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food items are presented beautifully. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, providing solutions where possible. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Perform basic maths calculations for order processing as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations. A keen interest in culinary arts or food preparation is advantageous. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
