We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, serving, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Prepare food items as per menu specifications while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen. Serve food and beverages to customers, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns promptly.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of front of house operations. Experience in food preparation and culinary tasks is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders efficiently. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both customers and team members. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
