Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour. Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness in the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Follow food safety protocols to maintain a safe dining environment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining hygiene standards. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in serving or upselling is a plus, as it enhances the overall guest experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.10-12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 25 per week
