Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Team Members to join our hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. Previous restaurant or food service experience is ideal but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages Assist with food preparation and presentation Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing genuine recommendations Handle card transactions Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods Provide attentive customer service, addressing guest queries and resolving any issues promptly

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and cash handling Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Experience in food preparation or culinary activities is a plus Effective communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and sales Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
