Overview

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently Take food and drink orders accurately while providing excellent customer service Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels Ability to perform food preparation tasks and assist in the kitchen if required Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
