WR Hospitality Services is looking for Front of House Team Members / Catering Assistants / Caterers / Ward Hosts to start in Oldham.

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a lively restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant experience and a passion for food service are highly valued, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a positive first impression Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently Assist with food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including basic maths calculations Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is desirable Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing purposes Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods Experience in food preparation, serving, or culinary roles is advantageous A proactive attitude with the ability to work well within a team Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
